Cryptocurrency is a digital money available in data units called coins or tokens that one can save in his or her digital wallet. The idea behind cryptocurrency is the development of a means for transactions with limited offerings independent of a centralized authority like a bank or government. Cryptocurrency is transferred electronically, so there is no physical coin or cash, and no institution or third party is involved in its creation and transfer.

Generally, a blockchain is a distributed and decentralized shared ledger made of record chains named blocks. Each block in this chain is responsible for storing information like transaction records.

A coin is a cryptocurrency in which encrypted algorithms control its currency and transactions. One of the factors in identifying and distinguishing a coin is owning a specific blockchain. Each coin in the cryptocurrency market needs to obey a network algorithm called blockchain to be applicable. A coin without a blockchain is not a coin.

A token is a term in the cryptocurrency domain that refers to specific digital currencies. Tokens are Interchangeable and exchangeable assets in a particular blockchain. They are usually offered by a standard process called ICO and can be used for various purposes such as investment, staking, and purchase.

ICO is a way to finance cryptocurrency projects. In this method, people can invest in projects using other cryptocurrencies and receive tokens from respective companies. ICO is before launching a project, and tokens are sold.

A roadmap is a business plan that defines a specific project's short-term and long-term goals in a period. For an emerging currency or a new-born company, a roadmap must state the goals and ideas of a project.
